Work Injuries
WorkCover / WorkSafe treatments for work injury related issues referred by your medical doctor. Acupuncture and Remedial Massage are bulk billed. ​
Referral requirement, a medical practitioner must provide a request for acupuncture services prior to commencement of treatment. WorkSafe considers acupuncture to be a referred service. A request from a medical practitioner must therefore be provided.
Traditional Acupuncture
Traditional Acupuncture is a system of healing which has been practiced in China and other Eastern countries for thousands of years. Although often described as a means of pain relief, it is also used to assist people with a wide range of conditions.

However the primary difference betweenTraditional and the Western Medical Acupuncture is that Traditional Acupuncture treats for the purpose of altering the flow of Qi (or energy) along traditional Chinese meridians while Medical Acupuncture follows evidence-based guidelines, recommended “point” locations, & dosages for the treatment of specific conditions, in particular musculoskeletal injuries.
Medical Acupuncture
Western Medical Acupuncture is a therapeutic modality involving the insertion of fine needles; it is an adaptation of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture using current knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology.
